She’s Every Woman

“She’s sun and rain, she’s fire and ice, a little crazy but it’s nice

And when she gets mad, you best leave her alone

‘Cause she’ll rage just like a river, then she’ll beg you to forgive her

Oh, she’s every woman that I’ve ever known.”

(- She’s every woman by Garth Brooks)

You can read the rest of the lyrics here or watch a live recording from 1995 here.

At first

I started out researching autism because I suspect that my sons are autistic. So much of what I read really resonated with my own life experience. I set out to understand my children better and found myself looking back at my whole life with new perspective. I don’t know what it means to me, to my boys, to our family, just yet but I think it will explain so much.
